Backcourt Brotherhood....Is it the end?

Chauncey Billups and Richard Hamilton have shared part of their lives more than just team mates. Brotherhood. Arguably, Rip and Chaunce are the best tandem backcourt in the league, they practically could read each others mind whether its on or off the court. That's what six straight conference finals together would do to you not to mention getting a ring together. More importantly, evolving together. When Chauncey and Rip came to Detroit, they were not recognize by many, until they won the 2004 NBA Championship. Although in Pistons land, it is a tradition to evolve and to have one of the best tandem backcourt in the league and this tradition started with Isiah Thomas and Joe Dumars. Today, one of the big questions is whether we'll see Rip and Chaunce again (2008-2009 season) wearing the same jersey. Believe me, Joe Dumars is smart enough not to get these two together, unless they're wearing Pistons jersey. Don't get me wrong, Joe has the heart and accomodation for everyone in Pistons, if you want out, you're out (Ben Wallace), but for Rip and Chauncey to be in the same team would be a nightmare for any opposing backcourt matchups. Personally, it would sting to see these two gets separated but if the cost is another shot to win a championship then pulling the trade trigger wouldn't hurt that much. Regardless whether this will be the end for the two savvy guards, the Pistons are ready to pass the baton to Rodney Stuckey.
