The End of an Era?

In the morning of May 31, 2008, sadness and darkness are written all over in the State of Michigan. While the Pistons fans in Los Angeles are not only crushed by the game from last night but are haunted and harassed unintentionally by the Lakers success. The Detroit Pistons' 2008 Season has come to an end after a heartbreak lost to the Boston Celtics 89-81. However, the end of the season is only part of the equation of the Pistons' fans disappointment. Will it be the End of an Era? Chauncey Billups, Tayshaun Prince, Richard Hamilton and Rasheed Wallace are responsible for one of the highest consistency of the Detroit Pistons and that is their sixth consecutive appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals. Although one may think why an Era should end after its great achievement, the questions remains the same year after year, "Why do they always come up short?" Regardless of the change, if there's any, there are few things that we could be sure of: The Detroit Pistons future is very bright with the emergence of Rodney Stuckey in the Playoffs, the consistent energy provided by Jason Maxiell and most importantly the decision making of Joe Dumars. Until then, we'll see what happens and I leave you with this song from FSN Detroit and http://www.need4sheed.com/
